Bucks - Dance Theatre of Pennsylvania is bringing its acclaimed production of "The Nutcracker" to a new
venue in the Doylestown area on Dec. 12 and 13. For the first time, the non-profit ballet company will be performing a full version of the two-act ballet classic
at Central Bucks High School South in Warrington, Bucks County. This production will showcase pre-professional members of Dance Theatre and feature opulent
costumes, detailed sets and our original choreography. Among our guest artists is Tara Keating, a former soloist for the Pennsylvania Ballet and current member
of BalletX. Ms. Keating is on the faculty of Budzynski Studios, Dance Theatre's affiliate dance school. Nutcracker showtimes are 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. on
Dec. 12, and noon and 4 p.m. on Dec. 13. Prices are $25 for adults, $20 for students and seniors and $15 for groups of more than 10.

West Chester - The Brandywine Ballet has been delighting Greater Philadelphia audiences
since 1979. The Company's performances of The Nutcracker have become part of a Holiday tradition in Chester County, which also features Longwood Garden's winter
wonderland display and Brandywine River Museum's O-gauge model railroad and elaborate Victorian dollhouse. Brandywine Ballet's Artistic Director Donna Muzio has strived to
maintain the Victorian flavor of The Nutcracker in Act I, while adding a more modern Balanchine flair in Act II. This season, special guest Jae Hoon Lim of Philadelphia's Koresh
Dance Company will partner with principal Brandywine Ballet dancers Hannah Telthorster and Jaime Lennon in the beautiful Grande Pas de Deux as choreographed by the late former
Ballet Master and New York City Principal Dancer, Richard Hoskinson. Additional new components of the production this year include a new Snow Scene by Ballet Mistress Nancy
Page, featuring the complete version of pas and corps, as well as updated costumes in Act II for Angels, Marzipan, and Grande Pas. Performances will be held December 12-21, 2008 at
