Fairies, princesses, darling Victorian girls, and dancing dolls will entertain the young and the young at heart in an abbreviated version of Nutcracker choreographed for a
young audience. There is a kind, gentle Uncle Drosselmeyer and the rat army will sit out this performance to create a lovely glittery 45 minute child friendly version of the
holiday story. The show is professionally choreographed and costumed. The cast of characters will include Clara and her friends, Uncle Drosselmeyer, Sugarplum Fairy,
Dewdrop Fairy and her Flowers, Princesses from Arabia, Spain, and China, and two dancing dolls.

Huntington - The Huntington Ballet Theatre's (HBT's) 18th annual production of
The Nutcracker, will be held at the Jeanne Rimsky Theatre. The Huntington Ballet Theatre (HBT) is a not-for-profit ballet company dedicated to providing young
dancers with the opportunity to perform side by side with professional dancers. HBT is a community-based ballet troupe that holds open auditions for every production.
This insures consistently high quality performances worthy of featuring some of today's foremost professional dancers. The Huntington Ballet Theatre not only
produces its own shows; it also is hired by various theaters to present ballets in condensed formats for younger audiences. The company performs in local schools
as part of arts-in-education programs as well. One hundred percent of the proceeds from all ticket sales and all dance fees go towards The Huntington Ballet Theatre's
operating expenses. This includes costumes, set designs, theater fees, advertising
and promotion, talent fees, and liability insurance. All donations are tax-deductible.

 Huntington - Lynch Ballet Company's production of the classical christmas favorite "The
Nutcracker," promises to delight audience with it's dynamic cast of some 120 dancers, stunning new costumes and guest performer Alberto Valazquez from the
internationally esteemed American Ballet Theater II, in the role of Cavalier. Valazquez is joined by Lynch company dancers Alyssa Brogan and
Danielle Margolis in the roles of the Sugar Plum Fairies.
Lynch Ballet Company and School of Ballet opened its doors two years ago
