Huntington
- The Huntington Ballet Theatre's (HBT's) 18th annual production of The Nutcracker, will be held November 25 and 26, 2006 at the Jeanne Rimsky Theatre. The Huntington Ballet Theatre (HBT) is a not-for-profit ballet company dedicated to providing young dancers with the opportunity to perform side by side with professional dancers. HBT is a community-based ballet troupe that holds open auditions for every production. This insures consistently high quality performances worthy of featuring some of today's foremost professional dancers. The Huntington Ballet Theatre not only produces its own shows; it also is hired by various theaters to present ballets in condensed formats for younger audiences. The company performs in local schools as part of arts-in-education programs as well. One hundred percent of the proceeds from all ticket sales and all dance fees go towards The Huntington Ballet Theatre's operating expenses. This includes costumes, set designs, theater fees, advertising and promotion, talent fees, and liability insurance. All donations are tax-deductible.
