Basking Ridge - Ridge High School - The Belle Mead Ballet Company, located in Hillsborough NJ, presents its unique fully narrated version of the timeless holiday classic, The Nutcracker. Adults and children alike will love the easy to follow narrated story line while delighting in the beautiful costumes and exciting dancing of the entire cast. A special feature of the company's production actually takes place after the performance is completed. All younger members of the audience and parents are invited on stage to meet their favorite character from the ballet and have them sign their programs. Children delight in actually meeting and talking to the Sugar Plum Fairy, her brave Nutcracker Prince and all the dancers from The Land of Sweets. FlemintonRiverBallet - The River Ballet Company proudly presents their eighth annual production of Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker. The River Ballet Company is a pre-professional ballet company located in residence at the Allworthy School of Dance in Flemington. They will perform Nutcracker on Saturday, December 8th at 2pm at the J.P. Case Middle School in Flemington and on Sunday, December 9th at 4pm at the Bridgewater-Raritan High School in Bridgewater. Advance tickets are $18 for Adults and $15 for Seniors/Children. Tickets will be $20/$18 at the door. Also, there is a Pre-Show Storytelling for children 1/2 hour prior to the show ($5 w/ticket purchase). Tickets may be purchased by calling (908)782-3803.

Glassboro - Pfleeger Concert Hall - December 21-23, 2007, Center Stage Productions in residence at Tricia Sloan Dance Center brings its holiday favorite, The Nutcracker, to the resplendent 900 -seat Pfleeger Concert Hall at Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey. With four memorable performances, lush sets, bravura dancing and brilliant costumes sparkling with Swarovski crystal stones make this production memorable for the entire family. Join the snowflakes, marching soliders, dancing flowers, the prince and Clara for an experience you will never forget. This production is recognized as an appropriate first trip to the ballet for any theater-goer.
