Brighton - Celebrating its 26th season, the original Nutcracker in Livingston
County is back by popular demand. Fountain Dance Ministry, with its presence on Main Street since 1984, has long established a commitment to support, as well as
give back to the community by producing a quality production with over 100 local dancers from the greater Brighton area.
Performances are scheduled for Saturday, December 3, at 2pm and Sunday, December 4, at 2pm at the beautiful Jane Tasch Performing Arts
Theatre, 2130 E. M-36, Pinckney. Tickets will be available for purchase beginning Monday, October 24, at Beverly Rae's in downtown Brighton.

Brighton - Most of the time, serious ballet fans who live in smaller towns and
cities just have to feel a little big-city envy. As a rule, it's the world's capitals that enjoy performances by ballet's top artists. That rule will be broken at the Brighton
Performing Arts Center, when Russian Artists International, Ltd., and The Academy of Russian Classical Ballet, under the direction of Sergey and Jessica Rayevskiy,
again present a very special production of The Nutcracker.
Over 80 dancers from Livingston, Oakland, Wayne, Macomb, and Washtenaw
County will be joined by international guest artists, including Anton Korsakov, first soloist of the Mariinsky (Kirov) Ballet Saint Petersburg Russia. Korsakov, who
performed the role of Nutcracker Prince in last year's production, has been a member since of the Kirov Ballet since 1998. Korsakov was a prizewinner at
international ballet competitions in Russia (1998) and Finland (2001) and has toured extensively, dancing lead roles both in Russia and internationally in numerous ballets

Chelsea - Experience the Magic! The Youth Dance Theatre of Michigan
(YDT) presents its 14th annual Nutcracker December 2,3 and 4, 2011. This family holiday favorite is a full-length, narrated ballet, choreographed by YDT Artistic Director, Wendi DuBois.
Accomplished area dancers, aged 8-18, delight audiences as they bring this classic story to life. From
Christmas Eve festivities at the Stahlbaum's, complete with charming Jesters and Mechanical Dolls, to a fierce Midnight battle, and on to the enchanted Kingdom of
