Commonwealth Ballet's 14th annual production of the holiday classic, The Nutcracker, features Special Guest Star, AdeChike Torbert, Top 4 Finalist on Fox TV's So You Think You Can Dance. AdeChike shines in the role of Nutcracker Prince. Our performance will captivate and thrill with its intimacy, humor, musicality and exciting dancing.
The lavish sets and colorful costumes dazzle the eyes. Behold the beautiful Christmas tree as it grows to unbelievable heights, witness the battle between the Nutcracker and the Mouse King, and journey to the Snow Kingdom as Clara meets her Nutcracker Prince. Come along with Clara in her dream to a magical land of holiday sweets and greet sparkling dancers, Mother Ginger, glittering flowers and the Dew Drop Fairy.
Guest artist Vitali Krauchenka from the American Ballet Theatre will perform as Cavalier. Lindsay Moncrieff (Acton performances), and International star, Anna Licieca (Regis performances) will perform Sugar Plum Fairy. Michael Johnson, formerly of Boston Ballet, stars as the Snow King. The 14 dancers of Commonwealth Ballet and over 75 children and adults from local communities complete the cast.
Performances take place on at Acton-Boxborough Regional High School.

 Sudbury - Metrowest Ballet is set to perform Nutcracker on December 3rd at 5pm and
December 4th at 1pm at the Rogers-Kirschner Theater, on the campus of Lincoln-Sudbury High School in Sudbury.
Along with a cast of area
dancers, this performance will feature guest artists Kara Quinn Bologna, Travers King, Phillip Rea and Gregg Saulnier as Drosselmeyer.
This is a wonderful production with gorgeous costuming and set-design. Everyone loves to see the snow falling and
the snow dancers, the holiday party, and the growing tree. The Dew Drop Fairy, Marzipan, Candy Canes, Arabian, Spanish Dancers, Mother Ginger and her
Polichinelles and the always exciting "battle scene" are just a few of the Nutcracker highlights that everyone loves and remembers.
The performance on December 3rd is geared towards school groups, mom's groups, Boy Scouts, Brownies or any other organization. These tickets are
