The Nutcracker ballet is Shreveport Metropolitan Ballet's most anticipated and cherished production in the
Shreveport-Bossier City area. A cast of over 150 talented local dancers, professional guest artists from some of America's leading ballet companies, and the musical
talents of the Shreveport Symphony Orchestra combine to bring to life this beloved holiday tale. The 2017 performances of The Nutcracker will be presented at Shreveport's
Riverview Theater with the Shreveport Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Kermit Poling will accompany our performances again this year.
On Sunday, don't miss the
Sugar Plum Fairy Luncheon immediately preceding the matinee performance, where you can meet costumed characters from the ballet and enjoy a delicious meal before experiencing
the magic of The Nutcracker.
